Description
This captivating work features a haunting nighttime scene, dominated by deep shades of blue and luminous golden accents. The center of the canvas appears to radiate, glowing like a luminescent reverie above a still body of water. The rich, tactile texture of the paint invites sensory exploration, adding depth to the image. The golden touches evoke a celestial light that draws the eye toward the distant horizon. The abstract, diffused forms suggest ethereal vegetation, creating a boundary between reality and imagination. This harmonious composition uses contrast and light to evoke a sense of calm and mystery, transporting the viewer to a world of contemplation and reverie. The work effortlessly illustrates the beauty and tranquility of an imaginary landscape bathed in the glow of bright moonlight.
Presentation
About the horizon line:
An imaginary thread for tightrope-walking glances, a virtuality where simultaneously everything ends for the eye and everything begins for the mind, the horizon is the essence of the landscape.
Our perception of the reality of the landscape is in fact only the result of a limit symbolized and imposed by an illusion that we call "horizon." Without it, space is no longer defined. If it disappears, the landmarks of reality disappear with it.
The horizon represents both the limited expression of our vision and the phenomenon, unreal in itself, which nevertheless makes our reading of the world possible by preventing us from losing ourselves in abstraction. In other words, a limit that does not exist orders our vision of the universe.
