Description

In this enchanting work by Oleksandr Khrapachov, we see a true “symphony of the Carpathian Mountains" — a moment when nature reveals its deepest philosophy. The painting “Houses in the Mountains" is a testament to the artist's skill in combining academic traditions with an impressionistic vision of light and atmosphere.

### The poetry of the moment

The artist captured that magical moment when the “last rays of the sun" envelop the mountain slopes in warm gold, creating a natural dialogue between light and shadow. This is not just a landscape — it is a “meditation on the eternal opposition" of yin and yang, darkness and light, embodied in every brushstroke.

### Authenticity and pictorial tradition

The work was painted “directly from nature" in the open air, which gives it a special energy and authenticity. Khrapachov, born in 1981, continues the best traditions of Ukrainian landscape painting, combining academic precision with impressionistic freedom in conveying light and atmosphere.

### Recognition and cataloguing

The significance of this work is underlined by its inclusion in the personal catalogue “Oleksandr Khrapachov. MY CARPATHIANS" (ArtHuss, 2016), which testifies to its high artistic value and recognition in professional circles.

Technique and dimensions

Created using traditional oil on canvas techniques in a 60×80 cm format, the painting demonstrates the artist's mastery of the pictorial language. Every centimeter of the canvas is imbued with a deep love for the native land and a subtle understanding of the mountain landscape.

---

This painting will be a real decoration of any interior, bringing the calm of mountain peaks and the warmth of the Carpathian sun into the space. It is not just a decorative element — it is a window into the world of Ukrainian nature, created by the talented hand of a modern master.
