Description
This artwork features a dynamic seascape where the ocean and sky amalgamate seamlessly. A massive, tumultuous wave dominates the scene, its swirling, textured brushstrokes vividly capturing the motion and power of the sea. The wave, painted in shades of deep blue and teal, is punctuated by highlights of foamy white, creating a striking contrast. Above, the sky is turbulent and stormy, with dark clouds swirling ominously, while the sandy foreground adds warmth and grounding earthiness to the piece. Birds, sketched in fluid, sweeping lines, soar gracefully above the chaos, offering a sense of freedom and movement. Presentation
Milena Bernardini nasce a San Benedetto del Tronto, dimostra da subito una spiccata sensibilità agli stimoli artistici di diversa derivazione. Matura un forte interesse per la pittura sin dai tempi della scuola, ma solo nei 2000 inizia ad approfondire questa sua passione mai sopita mettendosi a praticare corsi e frequentando botteghe d’arte. La curiosità e la voglia di sperimentare la portano a seguire diversi maestri con i quali poter approfondire varie tecniche tra cui olio, carboncino, acquerelli, sanguigne ed acrilici. Il suo percorso artistico si snoda tra figurativi e soprattutto paesaggi che la colpiscono e da cui rimane spesso affascinata, fino ad arrivare alla pittura astratta che la accompagna in un percorso introspettivo. Nel 2020 inizia a prendere forma la sua serie dal nome “Visionaria”, mentre nel 2021 intraprende un corso di modellazione di argilla. Il contatto con la terra e la creazione di forme tridimensionali sono una scoperta entusiasmante che Milena porta avanti cercando di perfezionarsi per arrivare magari un giorno alla scultura, altra forma artistica che la incuriosisce da sempre. Di recente scopre la sua passione per i balli e canti della tradizione popolare frequentando dei corsi. Ha esposto in numerose città italiane ed all'estero, per citarne alcune Roma, Firenze, Pescara, Gubbio, Terni, Lerici, Parigi, Bratislava. Milena Bernardini ricerca nei suoi dipinti musicalità, equilibrio ed armonia giocando con forme e colori. La pittura rappresenta per lei fonte di evasione dalla routine quotidiana, è una vera compagna di vita, un luogo dove poter spaziare tra i vari stati d’animo, meditare e connettersi con la parte primordiale di sé. Dà vita alla propria opera attivando principalmente la sua parte istintiva, le piace osservare ciò che di bello le rimandano le forme spesso dai colori molto accesi e contrastanti. Milena non si domanda perché le linee ed i colori prendono vita in un certo modo, osserva la sua tela ascoltando ciò che sente e quello che l’immagine, mentre si arricchisce, le comunica emotivamente. La caratteristica delle sue opere, quindi, è quella di colpire l’irrazionale e far vibrare contemporaneamente mille sensazioni.
