Nathalie Dervaux Pouliquen

Natali, whose full name is Nathalie Dervaux Pouliquen, is a French painter based in the south of France, whose pictorial universe explores the depth of human emotions through portraiture.

A passionate self-taught artist, she has developed a unique artistic style centered on light, skin, and the gaze. Her works, often created in oil, capture suspended moments where the sun is not shown, but felt — a visual signature that has become emblematic of her work.

Through expressive female portraits, sometimes monochrome, sometimes bathed in warm and vibrant colors, Natali seeks to reveal the invisible: a contained emotion, an inner strength, a memory. Her work plays on the contrasts between shadow and light, softness and intensity, realism and suggestion.

Blending aesthetics and humanitarian awareness, she inscribes her art in a desire for transmission, empathy and sharing.

Today, Natali is developing a strong artistic identity around coherent and symbolic collections, while exploring new decorative and narrative mediums. Her ambition is to create art that is sensitive, accessible, and meaningful, capable of reaching a wide audience.

"When light caresses the skin, emotion becomes eternal."
