Description
This original oil painting is inspired by one of the most breathtaking landmarks in France — the cliffs of Étretat in Normandy. Their dramatic arches and steep white cliffs, carved by the ocean, look like a masterpiece of nature itself. Painted with a palette knife, the artwork features rich texture and dynamic strokes, capturing both the rugged surface of the stone and the shimmering depth of the sea.
The color palette combines cool shades of deep blue and turquoise with subtle notes of gray and lilac, creating a sense of freshness, openness, and infinity. The strong contrast of light and shadow highlights the drama of the seascape, giving the viewer feelings of freedom, serenity, and inspiration.
Created in the style of modern Impressionism with expressive elements, this seascape painting not only reflects the beauty of Normandy's coastal nature but also carries an emotional energy. It allows the viewer to connect with the grandeur of the ocean and experience the timeless spirit of Étretat.
