The Oil painting on Cardboard titled “Sunny days and boundless joy of nature" is a vivid celebration of the harmony between light, land, and sky, embodying the radiant joy that comes with summer's embrace. This work captures the viewer not merely through its subject but through the artist's bold, expressive brushstrokes and luminous palette that transform an ordinary landscape into a symphony of colors and textures. The scene speaks not just of beauty but of the overwhelming vitality that pulses through nature on a warm sunny day, when time itself seems suspended in serenity and joy. At the heart of the composition lies a small body of water, its surface alive with reflection and color. Rendered in shades of lilac, lavender, and touches of rose, the water mirrors the sky above and the richness of the surrounding fields. Its calm flow is interrupted only by ripples of brushstrokes, which give the illusion of movement and shimmer, as if sunlight dances across the surface. The gentle blending of pink and purple hues in the water contrasts with the earthy foreground, inviting the viewer's gaze inward and onward into the depth of the landscape. The fields stretch on both sides of the water, covered in a vibrant cloak of green that transitions into golden tones and earthy browns as they move toward the viewer. These wide expanses embody abundance and fertility, reflecting nature's unending ability to renew itself. Streaks of brighter yellows and warm oranges emerge among the greenery, suggesting wildflowers and grasses basking in the sunlight. The thick impasto of the brushstrokes adds an almost tactile quality, as if the viewer could reach out and feel the soft, uneven earth beneath their hands. On the horizon, clusters of trees stand tall, their crowns rendered in deep greens and shadowed blues, contrasting dramatically with the lighter, sunlit fields. The two larger trees on the right dominate the skyline, rising like silent guardians of the land. Their dark mass anchors the painting, offering stability and contrast to the airy lightness of the sky. To the left, a smaller group of trees balances the composition, their forms looser and blending softly into the background. Behind them, a dark purple silhouette of distant woods stretches across the horizon, giving depth and grounding the landscape in timeless continuity.

Works by Boris Serdyuk are held in museums in the Sumy and Chernihiv regions, as well as in private collections in Ukraine, European countries, the USA, Israel, and other countries.
In 2018, the artist entered the global art space of the creative platform in New York, where seven of his works were included in the catalog "Painting & Graphics."
Currently lives and works in Kremenchuk, Poltava Region.
Took his first steps in the world of visual arts within the walls of his local school, then studied at Yuriev-Polsky Pedagogical School. After graduation, he returned to his homeland and started working as a drawing and painting teacher.
Later, he realized that for an artist, creative freedom is essential. Thus, after seventeen years of teaching, he left the profession to focus on his creative work. The artist is content to have the opportunity to engage in his beloved craft, which he considers the meaning of his life.
His journey had its ups and downs, victories in competitions, and recognition from admirers, yet he never ceased his determined quest for his artistic path. In ancient times, "serdyuk" referred to professional infantrymen in the Cossack ranks. This heritage likely passed down not only the surname but also many Cossack traits to the artist, including hard work, modesty, and human dignity.
Boris Serdyuk creates in genres such as portrait, landscape, and thematic composition. His works are varied, reflecting the artist's impressions of the places he visited. Among them are picturesque corners of Kremenchuk and Dnipro views, urban and maritime landscapes, the grandeur of the Carpathian Mountains, and cozy Ukrainian villages. His canvases are intriguing in terms of color and relatively compositionally perfect, revealing the life of nature at the time of their execution.
There are also commissioned portraits and paintings, such as "Shevchenko in Baturyn." He spent over a year working on it, studying the architecture of the former hetman capital. However, the artist prefers to work swiftly, capturing the vision of a painting before it fades from his mind and before the sun changes its angle and shadows. On average, according to the artist, he spends about 40 minutes on a single landscape.
Boris successfully combines a poetic perception of the world and a deep understanding of nature with brilliant artistic execution. His paintings exude a special light and a delicate sense of nature – vivid colors on the canvas resonate with intermediate tones. The artist has abandoned contours, replacing them with separate and contrasting brushstrokes; his paintings amaze with colors, not only their diversity but also the amount of substance applied to the canvas – vibrant, vivid, voluminous.
Describing the master's works is a challenging task. Boris Serdyuk's works are special – they are painted with soul. One must see and feel the wonderful harmony of nature on the artist's canvases firsthand and touch the great mystery of Art.
