The Oil painting on Cardboard titled “Sail full of wind" is a striking celebration of maritime vitality, where the grandeur of tall sails and the brilliance of light and color come together to capture the timeless energy of the sea. The central figure of the composition is a white boat with its immense sails unfurled, billowing wide as they embrace the invisible but palpable force of the wind. Painted in warm shades of ochre, beige, and burnt sienna, the sails dominate the canvas, rising boldly against the vivid backdrop of a deep, cloudless blue sky. Their textured strokes suggest not only fabric catching air, but also the very essence of momentum and freedom, the spirit of exploration embodied in pigment and form. Around the central vessel, other boats with equally majestic sails appear, their red and orange tones glowing like flames against the tranquil expanse of sea and sky. This gathering of ships is not static but alive with energy, each sail straining forward, suggesting both unity and individuality as they ride together on unseen currents. The rigging and masts, drawn with fine vertical strokes, add contrast and rhythm, emphasizing the verticality of the sails against the horizontal calm of the horizon. The sea itself, depicted in brilliant blues, greens, and purples, becomes a mirror to the drama above. Zhitomir artist Suprunchuk Yuri Sergeevich Born on April 11, 1961, in the city of Zhitomir. Graduated from the Zheleznogorsk Art School, Russia (1982). Teachers in the specialty: V. Chukuev, E. Nikulin. Painter. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (2002). Major works: "Near the house" (2005), "Winter on the outskirts of Zhitomir" (2006), "Autumn still life" (2004). Lived and worked in the city of Zhitomir.
