Description
In this vibrant work, Davide Ricchetti revisits classical beauty through the bold prism of contemporary colour. The sculptural body, inspired by ancient canons, is traversed by flashes of electric blue, incandescent pink and solar orange. Between shadow and light, past and present, marble becomes flesh, myth becomes pop.
Davide Ricchetti plays with contrasts and transparencies like a composer with his notes: each shade, each fluid line draws a rhythm, an emotion. The subject's gaze, both distant and magnetic, seems to invite us to reflect on the permanence of beauty through the ages.
The artist combines Greco-Roman heritage with the energy of the modern avant-garde, creating a work that straddles the boundary between the sacred and the vibrant. A hypnotic piece, where ancient perfection meets the chromatic audacity of the 21st century.
