Description
This vibrant painting captures a domestic moment imbued with calm and color. Brown-toned faucets deliver a continuous flow of crystal-clear water, creating a soothing contrast with the liquid's vivid blue. In the background, two flowerpots add a natural and inviting touch: on the left, a slender plant in a blue pot, and on the right, lush foliage adorned with purple flowers in a brown pot. The interplay of bold colors—yellow, blue, and green—transforms an ordinary scene into a captivating work of art. The presence of natural elements within an interior setting underscores the harmony between indoors and outdoors, evoking a sense of serenity and simplicity. In creating this painting, the artist has skillfully combined utilitarian function with tactile aesthetics, making each element essential to the overall visual balance.

Galina Navodnitchaia-Malfoy alias Galka is a French artist born in 1971 who lives and works in Callians near Cannes in France. Her works are inspired by her many travels and the magical atmosphere that derives from them. If her art is constantly changing, we find in all her artworks tastes for colors and the representation of funny and mischievous animals. Her universes often refer to the world of childhood, Galka wants to arouse joy and wonder with artworks that bear the imprint of peace.
