Description
This artwork depicts a woman seated with her back to the viewer, enveloped in a white sheet that appears both light and protective. The subtle neutral tones and shades of blue create a sense of softness and visual calm. The emphasis is on the model's elegant and contemplative posture, her feet delicately placed on the ground, revealing a quiet vulnerability. Her tousled blond hair adds a touch of spontaneity and naturalness. The simple background highlights the purity of the scene, evoking a feeling of intimacy and tranquility. The artist perfectly captures the texture of the fabric and the delicacy of the skin, making the work vibrant and moving. It is a painting that captivates with its harmony and its ability to convey a silent and universal emotion.

"Always fertile, Danielle Stora Darmon's highly dreamlike paintings surprise and naturally oscillate between a surreal classicism with striking effects and the cries of a wild freedom." (Univers des Arts)
