Description
This plain air sketch, painted by the artist from the window of his studio in Stupino, is a vast landscape dominated by bright yellow trees embodying the essence of the golden hues of late autumn. The foreground is a sea of sun—drenched foliage, artfully textured to convey the tactile sensation of leaves swaying in the wind. The horizon reveals a contrasting blue stripe by the Oka River, hinting at distant hills under an azure sky dotted with patches of clouds, which adds depth and tranquility to the composition. The masterful use of color and brushstrokes creates a vivid sense of movement and life, directing the viewer's gaze across the vast landscape. The exquisite frame with its intricate details complements the dynamic energy of the painting, while giving it a classic beauty. This work stands out for its ability to convey the richness of nature and the harmony of colors in a holistic, immersive experience.
