Van Gogh Pop Style, 2026

Xavier Wttrwulghe

This intriguing work is a Cubist portrait of a human figure. Vibrant hues of green, yellow, and black intertwine to create a face that is both fragmented and harmonious. Geometric forms dominate the composition, each section appearing to overlap with calculated precision. The captivating gaze, intensified by the bold use of contrasting colors, immediately draws the viewer's attention. The shades of green add a mysterious depth, evoking a duality between nature and abstraction. The choice of sharp angles and curved lines creates a thrilling visual dynamism. This portrait, though deconstructed, exudes a strong and enigmatic presence, perfectly embodying the essence of Cubism in its ability to reinvent the traditional perception of form and space.

Xavier Wttrwulghe is a versatile artist born in Belgium in 1976.
I studied at the Brussels Academy of Fine Arts and from a very young age was interested in all forms of art (photography, painting, sculpture). I received my painting valuation from Akoun in 2019.
One of his photographic artworks was purchased from a private collection by the Musée des Franciscaines in Deauville. He is a complete artist who will never fail to amaze you!
