“Tomorrow" is a 100x100 cm mixed-media work in which artist Cécile Gonne Victoria explores the intricacies of time and human destiny. In this immersive composition, we are no longer merely spectators, but travelers embarked toward an uncertain and fascinating horizon.
The canvas unfolds like a wake of foam and light. In the foreground, two silhouettes stand with their backs to us, symbolizing humanity on the move. They progress along a path that seems to cleave the waves, framed by clocks that hammer home the urgency of living. The texture work—balancing the fluidity of abyssal blues with bursts of pure white—creates a sense of perpetual motion, evoking both the tumult of a wave and the clarity of a new day.
In the distance, a temporal gateway rises, topped by a solitary clock face like a lighthouse in the night. It stands out against a tormented sky where the gold of dawn (or dusk) struggles against dark clouds. Herein lies the poetry of : the tension between the past that follows us and the promise of a light awaiting us beyond the ocean.
Through the interplay of textures and the subtle collages characteristic of her mixed-media technique, this painting appeals to the senses. Cécile Gonne Victoria delivers a piece of metaphysical contemporary art, where every brushstroke questions our relationship with the infinite.

Through her paintings and photographs Cécile Gonne-Victoria questions the reality of the world around us. She proposes to free herself from the simple form to go further beyond what we think we see.
She questions the appearance, explores the energy that emerges from all things. Lines of force and vibrant colors create a sublimated link between fragments of collaged snapshots. The energy given by the brushstrokes and the scratches of the knives galvanizes each of his compositions.
This approach that links appearance and deep energetic reality makes her work a singular combination.
