Velvet Muses de Lumière, 2026

Kristina Mallen

In this elegant painting, I portrayed a procession of sensual women — refined, elongated female figures standing in silent rhythm.

Their bodies are reduced to pure silhouette: feminine legs, delicate curves, and poised postures that celebrate the beauty of the female body without excess. This work belongs to the realm of erotic art, where sensuality is expressed through restraint, elegance, and atmosphere rather than explicitness.

The women stand on a black-and-white chess floor, a symbol of order, choice, and quiet tension. Subtle paint drips break the geometry, introducing spontaneity and emotional fluidity. The background is wine-toned and violet, layered with shifting shades and soft transitions, reminiscent of velvet — deep, intimate, and luminous.

Each figure carries a lampshade on her head, transforming light into identity, thought, and presence. A delicate accent — small, precise dots suggesting nipples — adds an intimate, almost whispered note, becoming the quiet signature of femininity within the composition.

Rooted in Art Deco aesthetics, the work explores elegance, female sensuality, and timeless grace, where eroticism meets form, and silence becomes radiant.
