Description
This captivating work presents a whirlwind of dynamic, abstract forms where blue, brown, and white hues intertwine with masterful skill. The artist employs energetic brushstrokes to create a complex and intriguing composition, captivating the eye with its movement and depth. Geometric and organic shapes appear to merge and emerge from one another, evoking a chaotic yet harmonious dance. The juxtaposition of cool and warm colors establishes a fascinating visual tension. The use of fluid lines and fragmented forms suggests a world in constant transformation. This work is distinguished by its ability to evoke visceral emotions while simultaneously inviting contemplation. It demonstrates a perfect symbiosis between chaos and structure, characteristic of abstract art, and encourages the viewer to explore the interplay between color and form.
Presentation
“I have been painting continuously since leaving the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Metz in 1987.
Not being able to consider my work as a painter as being really “abstract" any more than “figurative", the idea of this oxymoron “Inabstrait ©" allowed me to define more precisely, and without Manichaeism, my painting.
“Inabstrait ©" would therefore consist in evolving freely between these two worlds, without being constrained to anything, or rather by admitting all the ways useful to the realization of a painting which would be resolutely a “drift", in the sense of the freedom of pictorial expression; thus erasing, adding, finally deciding what is good to let appear ".
