Description
The street in the dark
You can hear Venice
You can hear life
You can hear water and wind
But you don't see much
"In the streets, from seven o'clock in the evening, the streetlights give off small round glows that cast no reflections around them: warm in color, and scattered at different heights, they are, on the lively streets, like little nativity lights."
Venetian notebook: Liliana Magrini
Presentation
Coming from a lineage of artists, Alain Churlaud excels in a variety of media, including oil and acrylic. Inspired by nature, this expressive artist uses distinctive techniques such as the use of spatula, brush, roller, sand and sawdust to create a unique natural texture. His abstract works, which for him often have a meaning, transmit a renewed look at reality and invite contemplation and appreciation of the present moment.
