Description
This captivating artwork, reminiscent of a natural stone slab, employs a masterful blend of earthy greens and yellows, creating a sense of organic fluidity and depth. The piece is an abstract exploration of nature's textures, evoking the serene yet dynamic essence of a landscape. Intricate veining and wisps of darker hues traverse the canvas, inviting viewers to explore its depth. The transitions between shades are seamless, showcasing the artist's skill in manipulating color and form to emulate the delicate intricacies of mineral formations. The composition's vertical orientation enhances its grandeur, drawing the eye upward and emphasizing the flow of lines and color gradations. This unique aspect gives it an ethereal quality, transforming the viewing experience into a contemplative journey of nature's abstract beauty. Perfectly balanced between calm and movement, the artwork is a testament to the harmonious interplay of color, texture, and form.
Presentation
With a decade-long career in the world of architecture and interior design, Vinyals decided to pursue his passion for art. This emerging artist, in her constant experimentation and inspired by the blown glass technique of the Mallorcan tradition and its relationship with construction, has led to creating works from reused glass and natural pigments handmade with stones, earth or clay. Vinyals' works are a testament to his love for art and nature. Recognizable by their unique style, these pieces encapsulate their own visual language, characterized by reflections, textures and tones that change depending on the incidence of light. These are capable of transmitting, thanks to the cracks in their mosaic, the imperfection and fragility of nature, but also its resilience, the ability to recover. And he has discovered in glass a duality that is also present in nature, the relationship between fragility and resistance.
