Description
The artwork entitled "Fuji" is an emblematic creation of the poetic universe of Jordane Desjardins, a watercolorist and fresco painter. This delicate portrait depicts a young woman with a melancholic and contemplative gaze, her brown hair adorned with small blue flowers. She wears a kimono in vibrant shades of blue, decorated with orange and yellow floral motifs that contrast with the gentleness of the subject. The title "Fuji," meaning wisteria in Japanese, directly echoes the cascades of mauve and purple flowers that frame her face and seem to fall lightly from the top of the composition.
This watercolor is presented with a white border all around the work.
