The pictorial surface is built through gestural layers that advance and contradict one another. Grays, blacks, and whites dominate the plane, creating a dense, almost urban atmosphere where the thick stroke sets rhythm and direction. Accents of orange, ochre, and red emerge as warning signals, activating the gaze and reinforcing a constant sense of nervous energy.
