Description
Aspiration - so many meanings, all captured in this painting, at least for me. Another one from my deep blue phase. I invite you to just enjoy the serene combination of blue and white. Unique painting using high-quality oil colors on professional gallery canvas stretched over solid wooden 4.5 x 3.0 cm stretcher bars (painting depth: 3 cm); canvas is stapled on the back. Glossy varnish is applied to seal and protect the painting, and to make the colors appear even more lively. Sides are painted, thus no frame necessary – the painting is ready-to-hang with a hanging wire attached. Signed on the front and back. Comes with Certificate of Authenticity. Note: In-context images are for display purposes and do not necessarily show the artwork to scale. Please refer to the measures section for the actual size of the painting. If you would like to see how this painting would look at your wall, just send me a photo of the wall/room and I can "photoshop" it onto the wall (approximately to scale of course), at no cost.
Presentation
I developed my passion for painting in my early childhood and it has been my constant companion ever since. However, I chose to study and work in the natural sciences. Painting remained my constant counterpoint to work during this time. For me, abstract painting is a form of expression that goes beyond the spoken and written language. Through the interplay of colors, shapes, and painting techniques, I dissipate the accumulated creative energy up to this particular level of inner satisfaction. My early works and part of my current works are strongly influenced by Gerhard Richter's abstract works. Many of my most recent works are from my unique "Spirits Of Skies" series, which captivates with its contrasting calm in the background and the dynamic action in the foreground. My paintings have so far been exhibited and sold around the world.
Education:
Self-taught throughout life.
Artistic Influences:
Life, Gerhard Richter (his abstract works), Jackson Pollock, Alex Voinea
