Description

This work was created by collaging prints of different digital images with metallic gold paint. I have been using this technique for many years because I enjoy creating images but then deconstructing the prints to modify them or collage them with other images. Women portraits are an old favorite of mine. My previous career was fashion photographer and video director and I enjoyed creating "commercial art" with women as my main subjects. As I transitioned into the art world I continued to favor women as a subject, but now is about expressing feelings rather than showcasing fashion. I am inspired by women's resilience and I use female beauty as a symbol of strength.
