Description
This artwork, a striking piece of contemporary abstract art, captivates with its dynamic composition of meticulously arranged red elements. Each piece is textured and slightly raised, forming concentric circles that create a hypnotic, swirling effect across the canvas. The vibrant red is intense, commanding attention and evoking a sense of passion and energy. A contrasting black segment, strategically placed near the top right, interrupts the visual rhythm, adding depth and intrigue. At the center, a small, subtly embedded motif in an opposing color draws the eye inward, offering a focal point amidst the visual chaos. The artwork's tactile quality invites viewers to explore its depth and intricacies, making it a compelling study of form and color. This piece masterfully balances order and disruption, demonstrating an innovative approach to abstract expression.
Presentation
Born in 1977 in Yerevan, Armenia, Aykaz Arzumanyan is a professional painter. He grew up close to the mountains Ararat, by the famous Hrazdan river where Noah settled with his ark.
In 1993, he moves with his parents to Russia and studies art law at the MGOU University. Being a legal practitioner, he is in touch with artists and galeries and organizes exhibitions of international scope. These years of accompanying and frequenting artists ignites his desire of creating his own artworks. Aykaz Arzumanyan devotes then his life to art.
After several trips to France, he moves there permanently in 2004.
Today, he is a renowned plastic artist and painter, whose studio is a laboratory where he explores techniques and materials. The artist has developed over the years a unique style, abstract and modern at the same time.
Each stroke is applied on the canvas with a great precision. The slightest slip-up causes him to begin the painting from scratch. However, his acute meticulousness does not prevent him to pour love into his work. Indeed, photographs of his paintings fail to do justice to his creations.
