Description
No doubt satisfied, our bourgeois savors his well-deserved cigar (Cuban preferably)!
This captivating work depicts two caricatured characters, offering an intriguing visual experience. The artist plays with shapes and faces to evoke a satirical comedy, inviting the viewer to explore the complexity of human emotions and deceptive appearances.
Presentation
My figurative painting focuses above all on the human condition and offers a personal vision of the world.
Inviting dialogue and exchange, it poses questions, leaving it up to each viewer to examine their own perceptions.
Within highly colourful expanses, disproportionate scales, unexpected framing, systematic shifts and deliberate contrasts create a narrative marked by contradiction, heterogeneity and fragility.
A surprising universe of strangeness and unease, inviting reflection on the human condition, for painting is also 'Cosa mentale' (Leonardo da Vinci).
