Original painting from our collection
This vibrant artwork captures a still life of pears and plums using a dynamic blend of colors and textures. Each pear is depicted with a spectrum of hues—ranging from soft greens and yellows to bold pinks and blues—creating a mesmerizing play of light and shadow. The rich, dark plums contrast sharply with the lighter tones of the pears, adding depth and visual interest. The use of what appears to be pastels on canvas enhances the texture, showcasing fine, expressive strokes visible on the surface. The composition's diagonal arrangement adds movement, drawing the viewer's eye across the canvas. The artist's signature is visible in the lower right, adding a personal touch. This piece excels in its use of color and texture to transform everyday fruit into a captivating visual experience.

Works in a creative workshop
Vyacheslav Babak is a recognized master of landscape painting. The artist's canvases are filled with lyricism and romantic mood.
His color palette is devoid of excessive expressiveness; in almost every painting, the image of nature is depicted using the quiet “sound" of soft halftones, giving lightness and depth.
