Description
Flog's entire universe is concentrated in this canvas using acrylic and spray paint. Against a monochrome gray background, the vibrant colors of the child's body and the multicolored soap bubbles stand out, rising in multitudes and vigor toward the infinite sky. A dreamlike ode to childhood with this character who is both translucent and bursting with color.
Presentation
Florian "Flog" Gaborit, born in 1984 in Cholet, France, discovered his passion for drawing at an early age, which naturally led him to study graphic design at the prestigious Pivaut Nantes School. Six years ago, Flog settled in the picturesque Nantes vineyard region, and today, he lives and works in Sainte-Lumine de Clisson.
In 2024: Flog participated in various prestigious contemporary art exhibitions, where his works were highlighted in showcases exploring the intersection of pop culture and street art.
In 2025: Flog is set to unveil new works in international galleries, continuing his exploration of romantic, dreamlike, and sarcastic themes.
His latest projects, such as "Human of Glass", have become emblematic representations of his artistic identity. Thanks to his unique combination of street influences and classical techniques, Flog remains an influential figure in the contemporary art scene.
Flog's art is defined by his mixed techniques—including aerosol spray, acrylic, and oil paints applied on various surfaces, such as road signs and canvases. His works display an impressive precision in gesture and detail, with complex backgrounds, reflections, and transparency playing a key role in his compositions. The result is an art that is as technical as it is expressive, revealing his mastery of multiple mediums and his unique ability to combine street art with fine art.
