Warm peach and amber forms glow like lanterns within a dense landscape of teal, grey, and dark green impasto — light pushing through mass, warmth asserting itself against cool shadow. The composition suggests a forest interior or urban canyon, vertical dark forms parting to reveal luminous passages of color beyond. Every surface is richly built up with thick, sculptural brushwork, the paint itself becoming architectural. Painted with commanding technical assurance in oil on canvas by Vlas Ayvazyan, this atmospheric work holds a compelling tension between darkness and radiant, irrepressible light.
