This series of paintings is dedicated to the Armenian Genocide.
A fractured landscape emerges from dense, anguished impasto — black, teal, and deep crimson tones colliding beneath a heavy white sky. Vertical forms rise like broken silhouettes or ruins against the pale ground, while flashes of red bleed through the darkness with visceral urgency. A fragment of yellow light persists amid the devastation — stubborn, irreducible, alive. The time in the title marks a moment of remembrance, transforming this raw, gestural composition into an act of collective mourning and defiant memory. Painted with profound emotional force in oil on canvas by Senia Baloyan, this small work carries immense historical weight.
