Sunshie state 1.1, 2026

Olga Tiho

Contemporary tropical artwork featuring a stylized palm tree close-up against a bright blue sky.

"Sunshine State 1.1" distills the essence of the Sunlit Escape series into a focused and visually striking composition.

By isolating a fragment of a palm tree against an open sky, the work shifts from narrative to atmosphere. The close-up perspective transforms a familiar tropical motif into a bold graphic statement, where shape, color, and rhythm take center stage.

The vibrant interplay of greens, neon accents, and warm highlights animates the surface, while the clear blue sky and soft cloud forms introduce a sense of lightness and calm. The composition feels both dynamic and effortless—capturing the sensation of looking up on a warm day, where time slows and the body relaxes.

Rather than depicting a full landscape, the painting functions as a visual trigger—activating memory, mood, and sensory association. It invites the viewer into a fleeting yet powerful moment of escape.

Within the series, this piece reads as more intimate and design-forward—balancing decorative appeal with a strong contemporary edge.

Perfect for collectors of contemporary pop art, tropical decor, Miami style interiors, and small-scale statement artworks.
