Description
▣ The coffee
A woman. A man.
A coffee.
A glance.
God who contemplates the scene.
▣ The New Brutalism
"In the spirit of Le Corbusier, of architectural brutalism. Here I wanted to impose a clear, violent, powerful reading of space. Worked with a lively line sometimes, a slow flatness at other times and integrating the raw white of the primed canvas - as for the grey of brutalist concrete - through a few large motifs of colours and powerful lines of black that cross them.
Keep the work minimal: no layering of colors, no writing, no explanations. Just a piece with a few primary colors. Sometimes dark green. But above all, leave as much space as possible to white or the plain background of the canvas.
Here we retain the heart of neo-expressionism, its nervousness, while removing its superfluity.
Here we seek raw expression, structure, violence, within a deliberate, polished, ultra-minimal organization.
A modern version of Brutalism. More direct, lighter. A kind of dopamine detox from pop art, neo-expressionism, art in general. A violent Zen garden.

Presentation
Present in hundreds of private galleries all over Europe, notably in Italy, France, the Netherlands and Belgium, 0xec6d0 is an artist apart. Committed, he stands out as one of the driving forces of modern Street Art, by offering a factual vision of society, of its setbacks, but also of its contemporaries.
Militant against consumerism, against Cancel Culture, often denouncing progressivism, as well as political divisions, his work is above all free from interpretation. Everyone can interpret their productions as they see fit.
Its driving force remains a quest for meaning, more than a pictorial quest. If the interpretations are free, the message is always present in his works, politically incorrect messages, denouncing the unsaid, the abberations, the modern dictatorships as they call them without ever criticizing a person or a community: he hates the polemics than hasty judgments. Undoubtedly a resurgence of his religion that he often implements in his paintings.
