Description
The artist completed this life-size graphite sketch during his trip to London to visit the Tower of London in 2003. This graphic work is a meticulously crafted graphite drawing capturing a charming cityscape with a view of Tower of London. The piece depicts a series of historic Gothic buildings, each adorned with intricate architectural details, from stone facades to elegant chimneys. The artist skillfully uses shading to create depth, particularly in the texture of the stonework and the textured foliage of the trees. A central courtyard with a simple yet charming bench invites the viewer into the scene, adding to its appeal. Committed to the Russian realistic school, graduate of the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, he aspires for absolute fidelity in reproducing the reality.
1988/90 A student of the art school in Krasnaya Presnya district of Moscow.
1990/97 A student of Moscow Academic Art Lyceum attached to the Russian Academy of Arts, Moscow. His graduation drawings were illustrations for Academician Platonov's The Course of Russian History rated as “excellent". As a result, Kozhin was attested as having finished a full course of general and professional education.
1997/03 A student of Ilya Glazunov's Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, Moscow.
