Description
This contemporary oil artwork captures the gentle stillness of a lily pond through expressive impressionist brushwork and luminous pastel color transitions. Floating water lilies, reflective water surfaces, and soft botanical forms merge into a dreamlike composition filled with calm atmosphere and emotional softness.
The palette of pale turquoise, powder blue, sage green, blush peach, and ivory creates an airy visual rhythm inspired by nature, memory, and light reflected on water. The textured linen surface enhances the organic movement of the composition while preserving its refined elegance.
Perfect for romantic interiors, modern nature-inspired spaces, cottagecore decor, and collectors seeking calming contemporary floral artwork. The piece functions beautifully as elegant statement decor while maintaining intimacy and serenity.
Presentation
Aisylu is an artist born and raised in a small town in Russia, where she studied the basics of painting and graphics at Bashkir State Pedagogical University (2009-2014). During her time in higher education, she launched her own handmade jewelry online shop, which she ran until 2013. After completing her studies, she worked as an artist-designer for an advertising company while also creating commissioned paintings.
In search of a major life change, Aisylu moved to Greece in 2018 to work as a yacht stewardess. It was during this time at sea that she realized how profoundly the ocean influenced her, inspiring her to return to art and focus on creating oil seascapes. Starting her life from scratch, she learned the Greek language and immersed herself in the local culture.
Currently based in the port city of Piraeus, Greece, Aisylu works as an artist in the luminism–neo-impressionist style. Her art serves as a reminder of the fluidity of life and the importance of not forgetting to enjoy it. Her artworks are in private collections in Italy, Cyprus, Greece, the Netherlands and Russia.
