Description
This contemporary artwork is a dynamic celebration of graffiti. On a square canvas, the word "GRAFFITI," inscribed in white capital letters and crafted from wood, is accentuated by thick black outlines that add depth and intensity. The vibrant background is a swirl of vivid colors—red, pink, yellow, and black—creating an electric, urban atmosphere. Splashes of yellow paint and flowing black lines add a dimension of movement and spontaneity. The artist's signature in the lower right corner reinforces the work's authenticity and uniqueness. This painting encapsulates the raw energy and free expression characteristic of street art, while capturing the effervescent spirit of modern urban culture. An iconic piece that immediately engages the viewer with its vibrancy.
Presentation
Born in Paris in 1976, originally from Congo Brazzaville, raised in Seine-Saint-Denis Berthet one is a designer, graffiti artist and author of comic strips. In 2009, he won the first transmurailles competition at the Angoulême festival. In 2010 his first album "L'évasé" was released and sold more than 10,000 copies. In 2015 the escape Volume II “Vive la liberthet" followed. Keen to share her experience, Berthet founded the Makadam association in 2013. He travels across France with the aim of sharing his journey with young people - and not so young people - in search of identity, dreams and ambition, but above all in need of means of expression. Strong in its attachment to its African origins, Berthet one's ambition today is to carry out actions beyond the borders of the metropolis to Africa.
