This new piece from the “Past Passing Me By" series is a visual meditation on the value of the present moment and the search for an emotional sanctuary. A white French Bulldog reaches toward bright yellow tulips, as if trying to capture a single second of fleeting warmth while the clock ticks forward and time slips away.

The book on the table, titled “The Way Home," serves as the conceptual key to the canvas. It perfectly embodies the philosophy of the entire series: though the past fades and the world changes rapidly, we always retain that "way home"—a path leading back to inner comfort, cherished memories, and the moments of pure, unconditional joy that our pets bring into our lives. The rich color palette and expressive textures highlight both the fragility and the emotional strength of this fleeting instant.
