Fried Egg Painting Original Breakfast Food Art Kitchen Wall Decor, 2024

Marina Fisher

This original oil painting transforms a simple fried egg into a striking contemporary still life through bold texture, strong contrast, and expressive palette-knife technique. Set against a dark background, the bright golden yolk and crisp white egg create a minimalist composition that celebrates everyday food with humor, warmth, and artistic character.

Created in 2024, the artwork combines realism with modern painterly expression. Thick layers of oil paint give the egg a sculptural quality, allowing light to interact with the textured surface and bringing depth to the composition. The simplicity of the subject makes the painting both playful and sophisticated, turning an ordinary breakfast staple into a memorable work of art.

Its compact format makes it an excellent choice for kitchens, breakfast corners, cafés, restaurants, dining rooms, food-themed interiors, or collections of contemporary culinary artwork. The clean composition and bold colors allow it to fit easily into both modern and traditional spaces.

This is a one-of-a-kind original artwork, painted entirely by hand and not a print or reproduction.
