Description
The gaze falls on a face caught in shadow. This acrylic painting explores the boundary between presence and absence. The composition plays on marked contrasts. A deep black envelops the subject and structures the space.
The light sculpts the features with precision. It highlights the finesse of the profile and the sparkle of the gaze. The immaculate white of the shirt brings a visual break. The brushwork is assured. It mixes the rigor of figurative portraiture with the freedom of street art.
The expression remains enigmatic. It suggests a silent introspection. Each brushstroke builds a complex identity. The background remains deliberately blurred to concentrate attention on the emotion of the face.
This creation combines technical mastery and modern sensitivity. It is part of a research into subjectivity and the layers of personality. The whole exudes a nocturnal and muted atmosphere. The final rendering is distinguished by subtle work on the flesh tones and cast shadows.
Presentation
The nomadic subject that I propose is a figure that emphasizes the need to act at the same time at the level of identity, subjectivity and differences. These are different demands that correspond to different practices. Multiplicity appears in a sequence deployed in several layers in which even contradictions can find their place
