Description
This acrylic portrait captures an intense and frontal gaze. The face emerges from a dark, neutral background. The light sculpts the features with precision. It highlights the bone structure and the determination of the lips.
The style skillfully blends the codes of figurative art and the energy of street art. The brushstrokes are bold. They create an almost tactile relief on the skin.
The artist explores the notion of identity through a nomadic figure. The composition plays on value contrasts. The deep blue of the eyes immediately draws attention.
This creation is part of a research into subjectivity and differences. The black clothing blends into the surrounding darkness. Only the face remains lit, as if suspended in the night.
The technical execution testifies to a rigorous mastery of volume. The final rendering favors a solemn and mysterious atmosphere. Each shade of beige and gray reinforces the physical presence of the model.
Presentation
The nomadic subject that I propose is a figure that emphasizes the need to act at the same time at the level of identity, subjectivity and differences. These are different demands that correspond to different practices. Multiplicity appears in a sequence deployed in several layers in which even contradictions can find their place
