Description
An abstract composition where the sky and water merge in a chromatic dialogue. The gaze first travels towards a rectilinear horizon, a fault line between two worlds. The top of the painting darkens. Shades of anthracite gray and white mix to evoke a stormy sky or a windy gust.
The bottom of the canvas is soaked in a deep, almost nocturnal blue. The paint unfolds there in broad blocks, suggesting the immensity of a calm ocean.
A striking contrast appears in the lower left corner. A touch of ochre and orange breaks the monotony of the cool tones. This luminous break brings visual balance and a sudden warmth to the whole.
The work of the knife or the large brush creates rich textures. The superimpositions of pigments give relief to the surface. The whole plays on the duality between the heaviness of the clouds and the fluidity of the water. The light seems to filter through the layers of paint, creating an effect of natural depth. Each brushstroke emphasizes a tension between serenity and movement.

Mare Line Robert is a self-taught artist.
She was drawn to painting about twenty years ago during a very complicated episode which was illness.
Painting was his outlet and painting never left him.
The works of Marie l'une Robert are full of life often given by urban landscapes or scenes of seascapes she likes to mix cold or warm tones with the expressive force of bright and vibrant colors in the foreground the exuberant colors bring a great luminosity to her paintings and celebrate life.
Without being completely abstract, his works erase the contours, being more interested in visual emotions than in realistic details.
Exhibition of his works in various galleries in France, in Paris, but also in New York in association with a New York musician.
His works have also been presented and sold at auction in the auction room.
