Part of the One Team series, this painting explores the profound human need to belong. The artist reflects on the idea that a true team is not defined by competition alone, but by the sense of trust, acceptance, and mutual support that allows every individual to feel valued.

To be among our own is to share a space where differences become strengths and where each participant contributes something unique to the whole. It is within this environment that confidence grows, friendships are formed, and collaboration becomes more meaningful than individual achievement.

The series One Team celebrates the values that unite us—respect, loyalty, and the willingness to support one another through both victories and challenges. It suggests that the strongest teams are built not on uniformity, but on the appreciation of each member's individuality.

Among Our Own is a reflection on the joy of belonging to a community where everyone has a place, every contribution matters, and togetherness becomes the greatest source of strength.
