Holding the Unseen, 2026

Ketki Fadnis

Ketki Fadnis is an Indian contemporary artist whose abstract expressionist practice explores memory, emotion, and the quiet rhythms of inner experience. Working through intuitive mark-making, layered textures, and contemplative color fields, her paintings become meditative spaces where presence and absence coexist.

Deeply influenced by nature, silence, and the emotional residue of lived moments, Fadnis approaches painting as a process of discovery rather than representation. Her works often evoke landscapes of feeling — suspended between the seen and the unseen, structure and spontaneity, stillness and movement.

Through gestural language and subtle tonal transitions, she creates visual narratives that invite introspection and emotional connection. Her practice reflects an ongoing exploration of timelessness, impermanence, and the invisible threads that shape human experience.

Based in Pune, India, Ketki Fadnis' works are held in private collections internationally and have been featured in exhibitions and publications that celebrate contemporary abstract art.
