Description
Vegetal Eruption - Contemporary Artwork
This painting develops through a broad upward surge that expands from a single point of convergence toward the upper part of the composition. Palette knife and brush strokes stretch shades of green, white, and black into a continuous, sweeping movement. The brightest areas concentrate the energy, while the darker tones reinforce the depth of the composition.
The different intensities of green evoke growth, dense vegetation, and the force of natural expansion. Paint splashes and finer marks bring rhythm to the surface, while the relief catches the light and emphasizes the direction of the movement. The artwork remains firmly abstract while directly referring to the vitality of the plant world.
Created with acrylic paint applied by palette knife and brush on cotton canvas stretched over a wooden frame, the edges are painted black for a clean, contemporary finish. A glossy spray varnish protects the surface and enhances the intensity of the colors.
A unique, hand-signed piece, delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
Presentation
Jonathan Pradillon, born in 1993 in France, is a painter whose work is distinguished by the audacity of his colors and his attraction to abstraction. His works, colorful and energetic, play with contrasts and capture the eye, inviting an immersion in his artistic universe.
After four years of studying computer graphics and crafts, he chose to move away from digital technology to devote himself fully to manual creation, exploring painting as his main means of expression.
Since childhood, he has been fascinated by colors , shapes and materials, which naturally leads him to diversify his practices. In addition to painting, he creates sculptures combining woodworking and metal assembly with arc welding, thus creating unique pieces that combine strength and delicacy.
A full-time artist since 2012 and officially declared in 2015, he continues his path with passion, constantly exploring new ways to bring his ideas to life.
