Description
This composition asserts itself through a dense accumulation of materials. The artist mixes oil with cardboard and collage on a canvas. The gesture is instinctive. The layers overlap to create a tactile relief.
The eye navigates between abstraction and figuration. Organic forms emerge from an organized chaos. The deep blue dialogues with flashes of yellow and red. The structure recalls a deconstructed architectural plan.
The conceptual approach transforms the surface into a field of experimentation. Each area tells a different story. The work on material brings a sculptural dimension to the painting.
This 2025 creation testifies to a research on depth and superposition. The balance is played between the saturated areas and the lighter spaces. The whole ends with touches of pure white and apparent cardboard fragments.
Presentation
