Description
In this abstract composition "What the earth retains", matter is no longer just a means of painting, it becomes almost the subject of the painting. It is more buried, more compact. What lives down there is ignored. This large dark central area seems to emerge from a creamy, almost mineral, matter, with oxidized turquoise, browns, then these small red and orange shoots that come to awaken everything.
The few black brown dots in the upper right prevent the top from becoming a simple resting area. They give the impression that something has escaped from the core.
There is time in there. Layers, traces, buried things, perhaps remains, perhaps germs...
Presentation
"I have an abstract pictorial language, it belongs to the domain of the unconscious, of chance and I do not always control it. My painting is a journey full of detours and each canvas is a new challenge. I love the colors, it's life, it's what surrounds us. I want my painting to bring cheerfulness, warmth, beautiful emotions. I was accompanied for 5 years by a professional painter. "
