Description
Jeanne's pictorial approach relies on instinct and chance. The gesture is freed to explore the realm of the unconscious. Each canvas becomes a journey, a renewed challenge where the material imposes itself.
This composition unfolds in a palette dominated by shades of purple and mauve. Touches of white and ochre come to illuminate the horizon, creating a subtle contrast.
The generous application of paint brings a tangible relief to the surface. The work with a knife or spatula structures the space in horizontal strata.
The light seems to emerge from a warm background, evoking an abstract landscape between earth and sky. The balance of cool and warm tones brings a sense of serenity.
The final rendering favors texture and chromatic intensity. The eye circulates between dense areas and the more fluid passages of pigment.
Presentation
"I have an abstract pictorial language, it belongs to the domain of the unconscious, of chance and I do not always control it. My painting is a journey full of detours and each canvas is a new challenge. I love the colors, it's life, it's what surrounds us. I want my painting to bring cheerfulness, warmth, beautiful emotions. I was accompanied for 5 years by a professional painter. "
