Description
This canvas explores the transformation of ordinary materials into artistic matter.
Made from recycled packaging paper, it reveals a perforated weave that evokes a real paper lace.
Unfolded and given volume, this material forms two almost symmetrical structures, between fan, wing, and textile fragment.
The work of black, ivory, and natural shades deliberately preserves the traces and irregularities of the original material.
The circles, recurring motifs in my work, structure the background and create a continuous movement around the composition.
They contrast with the raw verticality that runs through the canvas in its center.
The superpositions, imprints, and reliefs give the work a tactile, almost sculptural dimension.
The paper, initially intended to protect and then thrown away, becomes precious and delicate here.
Presentation
It all began with a moment of revelation, on a construction site. The fluid and instinctive gesture of a mason applying the plaster caught my eye.
This imprint, left in the material, was a true source of inspiration. At that moment, an obvious thing became apparent: I had just found an artistic language that resembled me.
I have always drawn and painted, but I was missing a personal writing.
This encounter with the material gave birth to an approach where movement, texture, and gesture become the foundations of each of my creations.
My journey between fashion, interior architecture, and the arts, enriched by my travels and my sensitivity to cultures, deeply nourishes my universe. Each work is the reflection of this alchemy between material, emotion, and memory, where spontaneity of gesture and search for balance mingle.
Through my paintings, I seek to reveal the poetry of textures, the force of movement, and the elegance of imperfections, inviting everyone to a sensitive and contemplative experience.
