Description
The gesture is primary here. The material imposes itself with a raw frankness. A deep blue dominates the composition, extending like a dense sheet on the support.
The work unfolds in successive layers. The movement is instinctive, almost architectural. One perceives the physical imprint of the artist in every brushstroke.
The contrast establishes with a black, opaque mass. It anchors the canvas and creates a strong visual tension. The white and gray background frames this ensemble, bringing a necessary breath.
The texture is rich. It alternates between smooth areas and marked reliefs. The streaks and scratches reveal a spontaneous creative process. The balance arises from this dialogue between the rigor of the forms and the freedom of the line.
This composition plays on depth. The blue seems to vibrate behind the areas of shadow. The light catches the asperities of the paint, highlighting the tactile dimension of the canvas. The whole ends with a discreet signature in the bottom right.
Presentation
It all began with a moment of revelation, on a construction site. The fluid and instinctive gesture of a mason applying the plaster caught my eye.
This imprint, left in the material, was a true source of inspiration. At that moment, an obvious thing became apparent: I had just found an artistic language that resembled me.
I have always drawn and painted, but I was missing a personal writing.
This encounter with the material gave birth to an approach where movement, texture, and gesture become the foundations of each of my creations.
My journey between fashion, interior architecture, and the arts, enriched by my travels and my sensitivity to cultures, deeply nourishes my universe. Each work is the reflection of this alchemy between material, emotion, and memory, where spontaneity of gesture and search for balance mingle.
