Description
"In my bubble" is a work that explores the power of the imagination through a dreamlike underwater landscape.
The character seems to be observing the marine depths from their own mental space, surrounded by algae, corals, and fish, like moving thoughts.
This mixed media painting is composed of a drawing enhanced with watercolor then cut out, and natural materials: algae pressed and dried in the studio, natural and hand-colored sands, shapes from cut paper.
All these elements are assembled with care, to shape this protective bubble.
"In my bubble" is a poetic work, which opens a parenthesis of calm where imagination and thoughts float lightly.
The work is carefully varnished, and sold with frame and matting, without glass.

"In my bubble" is a mixed media work of 30 x 30 cm that unfolds an imaginary underwater landscape.
A refuge in the heart of the imagination
At the border of the dream and the real world, it evokes those moments when the mind moves away from the everyday to take refuge in an inner universe. The character seems to be observing the marine depths from their own mental space, surrounded by algae, corals, and fish, like moving thoughts.
The work speaks of introspection, sensitivity, and that precious ability to create a world for oneself. The bubble becomes both a protective shelter and an open door to the unknown, a place where imagination can breathe freely.
A marine world composed of strata
The composition is made from a meticulous collage of natural materials and elements from the visual arts.
Dried algae from the studio, raw natural or hand-colored sands, as well as cut papers build the vegetation and seabed.
The character is from a drawing enhanced with watercolor, cut out and then integrated into the whole. The juxtapositions of materials, shapes, and colors create an impression of depth and give the landscape its lush character.
An immersion between material and daydreaming
From afar, the gaze is drawn to the blue light that envelops the scene, and to the character's eyes, wide open to this inner world.
Up close, the work transforms into a territory of exploration: the grain of the sand, the fineness of the algae, the contours of the papers and the drawn details offer an almost tactile reading. The mineral and the vegetal mix with the artist's stroke in a spontaneous, sensitive, and immersive composition.
Contemplating this work is to let oneself slip for a few moments under the surface, in a silent space where thoughts float lightly.

Presentation
Creating offers me a space and time to channel my feelings into matter. To embody and transcend them, I shape small, sensitive, and organic universes that tell their stories.
Mixed media have always appealed to me. They are multifaceted and rich, existing between accident and harmony. My collages are creative acts of reconciling my ambivalences.
The infinite complexity of Nature fascinates me. In its image, and on my own scale, I try to link precision and abundance in my works.
I climb the tree structure, exploring and tracing its multiplicity, details, and connections. I create meticulous compositions. Then I plunge back into the material and let it guide my hands.
Sands, flowers, feathers, bark, algae and lichens, papers and fibers… Pieces of nature that I gather, classify, and accumulate. Raw materials from which I draw to create. Rough or velvety, vibrant or subtle, thick or transparent.
I color my own sands, press and dry the flowers and foliage, and create paper shapes using a small digital cutter.
My drawings, watercolors or pastels, once cut out, become part of the whole.
I assemble all these elements in balance around my emotions. Like a flurry of suspended notes, which come to find their place in the score.
Each work is a harmony.
