Description
"Black Hole" is a mixed-media work that unfolds a hypnotic blue iris and takes us on a journey between the intimate and the infinite.
This painting is a collage of different natural materials:
The pupil in the center, black as an abyss, is made of naturally iridescent black sand. Around it, colored sands create a movement like an explosion frozen in time. And the real feathers surround the composition like a protective circle, thus creating visual and emotional depth.
"Black Hole" evokes the moments of confusion we go through, inviting us to turn our gaze inward to find answers. A silent exploration that invites letting go and reconnecting with oneself.
The work is carefully varnished, and sold with frame and matting, without glass.
Description
is a mixed-media work of 30 × 30 cm that symbolically represents a black hole in the form of an iris into which the gaze seems to plunge.
An attraction to the unknown
"Black Hole" evokes that mysterious force that attracts, fascinates, and worries at the same time.
The work is introspective. It speaks of vertigo, and of those deep areas of ourselves that can only be explored by accepting to let go.
The iris then becomes a passage: an eye open to the unknown, a channel of expression of its interiority, but also a mirror in reflection, where everyone can project their own emotions.
A composition of sand and feathers
The work is made from a meticulous collage of natural materials:Crawling and colored raw sands draw the different strata of the iris, its gradients and radiations, while black feathers compose a dense and moving border.
The contrast between the mineral grain of the sand and the organic lightness of the feathers reinforces the impression of attraction towards the center and gives the composition its depth.
A magnetic and tactile contemplation
From a distance, the eye is captivated by the shiny black disk and the power of the circular shape. Up close, the material takes its place: the grain of the sand catches the light, the nuances mingle subtly, and the feathers reveal their fineness, their reflections, and their singularities. This encounter between softness and roughness creates a tactile sensation. The gaze moves through successive circles, as if sucked in in a slow movement towards the center.
Contemplating the work becomes then an immersive experience, on the border of the organic and the invisible.

Presentation
Creating offers me a space and time to channel my feelings into matter. To embody and transcend them, I shape small, sensitive, and organic universes that tell their stories.
Mixed media have always appealed to me. They are multifaceted and rich, existing between accident and harmony. My collages are creative acts of reconciling my ambivalences.
The infinite complexity of Nature fascinates me. In its image, and on my own scale, I try to link precision and abundance in my works.
I climb the tree structure, exploring and tracing its multiplicity, details, and connections. I create meticulous compositions. Then I plunge back into the material and let it guide my hands.
Sands, flowers, feathers, bark, algae and lichens, papers and fibers… Pieces of nature that I gather, classify, and accumulate. Raw materials from which I draw to create. Rough or velvety, vibrant or subtle, thick or transparent.
I color my own sands, press and dry the flowers and foliage, and create paper shapes using a small digital cutter.
My drawings, watercolors or pastels, once cut out, become part of the whole.
I assemble all these elements in balance around my emotions. Like a flurry of suspended notes, which come to find their place in the score.
Each work is a harmony.
