Voltige is a mixed-media work, which depicts the graceful movement of an acrobat, in the weightlessness of an underwater landscape.
Between dance, dream and immersion, it speaks of freedom and letting go, and of the art of finding one's balance in a moving environment.
It is an organic work, which mixes different materials and techniques.
The character is painted in watercolor, then cut out and integrated into the whole. The seabed is composed of natural and colored sands hand-painted, and shapes painted and cut out from printed and textured papers.
A painting that explores movement, in a poetic and airy relationship to the body, and a gentle presence in its environment.
The work is carefully varnished, and sold with its frame, without glass.
Description
is a mixed-media work of 40 × 60 cm that explores the impression of lightness and weightlessness, through the grace of an acrobat moving in an underwater landscape.
Between surrender and elevation
Suspended in the heart of the depths, the figure seems to escape the laws of weight and time. Its body unfolds with fluidity among the seaweed, as carried by the water. it evokes that rare moment when one stops resisting to be carried by the movement.
The work speaks of freedom, trust and letting go, but also of the inner strength necessary to find one's balance in a moving environment.
Between dance, dream and immersion, the acrobat becomes the symbol of a fully alive presence.
A composition that associates material and drawing
The work is made from a meticulous collage of natural materials and elements from the visual arts. Natural sands, used raw or hand-colored, build the depth of the seabed and its variations of light, which filter through the movements of the water. The figure and certain plant elements are painted in watercolor and acrylic felt-tip pens, then cut out and integrated into the composition. Papers cut in different shades of blue, green and white draw the seaweed, the corals and the organic shapes that surround the acrobat.
An almost tactile immersion
From afar, the gaze is immediately drawn to the moving silhouette, luminous in the heart of the aquatic universe. Up close, the work reveals itself as a landscape of materials: the mineral grain of the sand, the transparencies of the watercolor, the outlines of the papers and the work of colors give the surface a living presence.
One imagines the coolness of the water, the slow swaying of the seaweed and the sensation of the body freed from its weight. This close reading becomes instinctive and sensory, like a silent dive into a world where every gesture prolongs itself with softness.
A poetic and airy work, which will bring to your interior a sensation of freedom, movement and escape.

Creating offers me a space and time to channel my feelings into matter. To embody and transcend them, I shape small, sensitive, and organic universes that tell their stories.
Mixed media have always appealed to me. They are multifaceted and rich, existing between accident and harmony. My collages are creative acts of reconciling my ambivalences.
The infinite complexity of Nature fascinates me. In its image, and on my own scale, I try to link precision and abundance in my works.
I climb the tree structure, exploring and tracing its multiplicity, details, and connections. I create meticulous compositions. Then I plunge back into the material and let it guide my hands.
Sands, flowers, feathers, bark, algae and lichens, papers and fibers… Pieces of nature that I gather, classify, and accumulate. Raw materials from which I draw to create. Rough or velvety, vibrant or subtle, thick or transparent.
I color my own sands, press and dry the flowers and foliage, and create paper shapes using a small digital cutter.
My drawings, watercolors or pastels, once cut out, become part of the whole.
I assemble all these elements in balance around my emotions. Like a flurry of suspended notes, which come to find their place in the score.
Each work is a harmony.
