Description
Thick layers of oil paint define this vibrant harbor scene. The artist employs a bold palette knife technique. Each stroke feels urgent and decisive. This approach creates a tactile surface with physical depth. Cool blue tones dominate the water. They contrast sharply with the creamy whites of the moored vessels. The composition captures a fleeting moment of stillness.
The visual language blends European traditions with a modern Ukrainian sensibility. Light dances across the water through calculated color spots. These highlights guide the eye across the undulating surface. There is a rhythmic energy in the application of paint. The figures of the boats emerge from broad, concise marks. This abstraction allows the viewer to focus on atmospheric quality. Tonal shifts suggest a soft, overcast sky reflecting on the tide. The artwork balances spontaneous execution with formal precision. It transforms a maritime setting into an exploration of texture. The painting concludes with a meticulous play of light on the hull of a foreground boat.

Yehor Dulin professional artist. He studied at the Kharkov Academy of Design and Arts. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. In the work of this artist the most interesting is painting, which is distinguished by the breadth and conciseness of the letter, combining the traditions of the Ukrainian and European school of painting. They feel the speed and ease of writing, which allows the viewer to concentrate fully on the color and tonal qualities of his painting
His paintings are recognizable by color and a palette knife from the first, I like to experiment.

Yehor Dulin received the Order for "Development of Ukraine" 2019 received Medal of "Merit to the Arts" I had more than 30 solo exhibitions in Ukraine and Europe
Since 1999, the artist has been a regular participant in international, national, and regional exhibitions and plein airs. The artist has held solo exhibitions in various cities across Ukraine. His works are held in private collections both in Ukraine and abroad.
