Description
At altitude the earth stops being a place and becomes a drawing. River beds branch like veins, arenas open as pale rings in the ground, the ocean turns from water into surface. And then, somewhere between waking and not, the drawing starts to look back at you.
A riverbed becomes the spine of an animal no one has named. A coastline resolves into a profile — a brow, a jaw, turned away. The rings of an arena become an eye. This is what the aviator dreams: not another world, but this one, seen from high enough and long enough that its shapes begin to breathe. Look again and the creature is a delta once more.
The work is built in acrylic on canvas, stretched on a wooden frame and sealed under a poured layer of epoxy resin. The forms sit at different depths rather than on a single plane. Pearl and silver ride near the surface like cloud and light on water; the emerald stays far down, in the channels; the cobalt opens beneath everything without a horizon to stop it. The resin closes over the whole like the glass of a cockpit — the world entirely visible, entirely out of reach.
What the aviator dreams is not what everyone else dreams. In Seven Voices,
The series in which people meet this canvas separately and never hear one another, one man saw a waterfall coming straight at him, close enough to raise the hair on his arms. Another, who has spent his adult life in the air, saw the world through a plane window and recognised it instantly. Neither was wrong. The painting does not tell you what is there — it waits to find out what you bring. The episodes are on the artist's own website.

Presentation
I am a contemporary abstract artist working under the name Turik & Art, with a background in luxury interior design. Over the past 25 years, I've worked with private clients to create refined interiors — and each time, I found myself searching for the perfect artwork to complete the space. That search eventually led me to create my own.
My artistic journey evolved naturally from my design work, and now I focus on creating one-of-a-kind pieces that carry emotion, movement, and energy — artworks that not only exist within a space but transform it.
I've had the honor of exhibiting at landmark venues including Art Capital at the Grand Palais (2025), 3F Paris (Porte de Versailles) and the Carrousel du Louvre, and my works are now in private collections internationally and in the Metropolitan Art Museum in Tokyo.
Each piece I create is unique. Upon request, I also offer commissioned artworks tailored to your interior's color palette, energy, and atmosphere — making your space truly personal and exclusive.
I am the author of Seven Voices — a documentary project in which seven people meet a single painting for the first time and answer the same seven questions, independently and without knowing what the others said. All episodes are on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLeSzSNgnyUU0
